We first chatted with McKenzie back in 2017 (episode 83). At the time, she was navigating life three years post-college and figuring out what it means when "the dream doesn't go as planned." We talked about fighting fear and doubt, accepting your gifts, believing in yourself, refueling her passions, and continuing towards the end goal.
Today, we catch up with her and and all that she has accomplished over the past four years and what new DREAMS she has been driving since. From becoming the content creator and social media influencer she always dreamed, dancing for Lizzo at the VMAs, to finally landing that BIG GIRL post-graduate job seven years later, McKenzie gets real about what the nontraditional journey looks like. We talk getting beat down by rejections, the path to finding confidence and how to suspend the disbelief in yourself.
