Jay wasn't always a man with so many accolades and titles behind his name. A high school dropout, at risk youth and three time felon, Jay made a major life transformation over a decade ago and now uses his life experiences and personal story of triumph to empower and impact the lives of thousands of his Academy students, troubled youth, ex-offenders and real estate professionals. Jay is passionate about community repair and empowerment.  He developed the Corner Class to teach residents of underserved communities financial literacy and how to utilize real estate investing strategies to rebuild their neighborhoods.  

Jay takes along his personal #dreamdriving journey and the life changes he made that eventually led him to living in alignment with his purpose. Are you multi-passionate? Sometimes you don't have to choose. Sometimes it's not an "either/or". In this episode, Jasmine Lawrence hones in on the power of not limiting yourself when it comes to your passion & potential. 

At the age of 13, after attending a Network For Teaching Entrepreneurship BizCamp, Jasmine Lawrence founded EDEN BodyWorks to meet her own need for affordable natural hair and body care products. After 12 years in business, her products are available at Target, Wal-Mart, CVS, Walgreens, Amazon, Kroger, HEB, and Sally Beauty Supply stores just to name a few.

But, beauty isn't Jasmine's only passion. As a kid, she also had a huge love for science and technology. She graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (with concentrations in devices and artificial intelligence) and now serves as a Program Manager on the HoloLens Experience team at Microsoft.

So, it is really possible to run a thriving beauty empire AND manage a full-time tech career? Yes.
